I just started using Biologic for scoring, anyone know any good shortcuts, I'm reading the manual, but, sometimes it is a little heavy on the eyes :)

Scoring

Postby Onion124 » Tue Jun 01, 2004 6:16 pm

I had to learn the hard way. Self-taught with no one to teach me. The best thing I can tell you is to first do Auto-analysis (first set the baseline O2) of the respiratory, SaO2, and HR, I usually end up deleting all the tachy, brady, central, and mixed events because it's overly sensitive to artifact. I find it's useful to use the shortcut buttons...it makes it easier to mark the events that way. Hope this helps.

Biologic

I have found that once you have the program down Biologic is easier to handle and to score then others I have worked with. I had lots of complaints at first but found it to be a joy to work with.

While your learning on your own, keep a file and jot down the easy ways to do things. Type them up and keep them in a training file. It wont help you but will make an easy task of trainning the next guy.

Scoring from Home

Postby Tough_Daisy » Fri Nov 19, 2004 4:05 am

:) I am new here to Binary Sleep. I was wondering if anyone out there can help me. I want to work from home Scoring sleep records, but have been unable to find many company references. Does anyone out there score sleep studies at home? I am really interested in anyones feedback. Thank you.

Hi Tough Daisy, here is a link that answers that question...I answered this same question about a week ago on Advance for Sleep:
