Pediatric CPAP mask

Postby sleepeddy » Mon Sep 11, 2017 12:49 pm

I'm looking for a CPAP mask for a 2 year old. I understand that Respironics isn't making the small child mask anymore?

Resmed Pixie agreed
Or
Respironics Wisp VIP (Fit pack comes with assortment of small shells)
https://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/ ... -mask.html
(is this the one they claim not producing anymore?)
FYI, it cost $60 per for lab pricing.
Or
Sleepnet Minime
$110 @ lab pricing

Thank you for the information.

I have heard of the wisp and have had an earlier version of it but I believe it's recommended for age 7 years and above.

the one that I heard they had discontinued was a very small version of their regular nasal mask (small child).

I'll have a look at the Minime.

I have to admit when the pixie first came out I was really excited but I've found it doesn't always sit very well on the children.

The link I provided clearly shows Philips marketing it on infants, so it must have been FDA'd for such.
