Yes labs are closing. But if you're looking at places like Total Sleep Diagnostics it's not due to a lack of need of sleep testing but rather a poorly run operation. Reimbursement changes make it less profitable for private firms like that. The ways of making your cash quick 'n dirty in sleep are not as prevalent as in years past.

People need to look behind the news and see what's really going on.

Labs Closing

There has already been questions about the lab I work at closing. I've only had 5 sleep studies this month and only 6 scheduled for the rest of the month. My boss is freaking out. I told him we are always slow in January but he is not so sure it will pick up at all. The bad thing is I'm scheduled to sit for the RPSGT next week. Should I even bother? You betcha I should!!! I'm going to go for it. So, I might be a unemployed RPSGT by the end of the year but I earned it!!!
