cpap store salary question... anyone?

Postby Jinxy » Mon Mar 15, 2010 12:52 am

Hi,
Has anyone information on what the hourly wage may be at a cpap
store for a sales asociate (i.e. showing patients pap equipment and use etc.)?
If it make any difference, my experience is 3 months as a tech, cpsgt soon, and plenty of cpap studies as well as a week working at a health support company assisting at the same job.
Just need to know what to ask for per hour.

Thanks in advance.

I do no think companies would consider you ripe material for hire in that capacity. Sorry to bust your bubble.

Most DMe companies would probably pay you like they pays drivers which is anywhere for $8.50 to $14 an hour depending on where you live

No harm, the person has already lined up the offering and is expecting us to come up with some figure for them to get paid. See how it works?

I don't get it Somno. Then again life for me is graded on a curve. I just get a kick out of poking you in that big eye of yours. It makes me giggle a little inside.

Good luck Jinxy

About five years ago, I was offered a position at a DME company. They offered me $25/hr.

I've been working full-time in this field since 1995 and my credentials are RPSGT, CRT.

Hope that info helps you in some way.

What no corrections, no bad comments? You guys are slipping! It is 3:30 in the morning. Where are all of the freaky conversations tonight?

CRT=Certified Respiratory technician
RRT=Registered Respiratory Therapist

A CRT would be the equivilant of the CPSGT. Well kind of.

I am going to put on my flak jacket and await the stones. :wink:
