Blues Night?

Postby SleepigalSA » Mon May 10, 2010 4:03 am

How do you find out about the social events that are happening during the conference, like "Blues Night"?

If the main Hotel is the Hyatt, then staying at any of the hotels that are directly located on the Riverwalk is close and safe for walking back to your hotel at night. Do your walking around at night on the riverwalk and tourist areas. I would be leary to walk around SA at night away from the alamo and riverwalk.

Some companies will send invitations to some of their functions to their list of customers. Other times, like Blues Night, you just have to know someone who knows, or look for signs around the exhibition hall on Monday, I believe that Monday will have exhibition hall time between opening session and afternoon sessions. Look through all of the materials you get when you register for possibilities. Do not put off registration, if you are in town Friday or Saturday, there will probably be times to go pick up your course materials which you can then go through and only carry the necessary books, manuals, and such with you.

Blues night sponsorship has changed hands, it was usually on the Tuesday night of the show but with this change, I don't know where or when it will be.

Would anyone let me sleep on their hotel room floor? I promise to be house broken by then. Also, will someone stick me in their suitcase on the way there so I don't have traveling costs? :D

Seriously though, I'm semi new to sleep and would love nothing more than to go to this psg shindig. I'll just have to be patient and wait for next year. :-({|=

Hope everyone who is there hoists a tasty beverage to those of us who can't be there this year.

Just started this job last October so there was no budget for it, plus my oldest son graduates from college this Sunday. Anyone in need of a physical chemist?

We HAVE to have a binary sleep meet up somewhere. Seriously. Andrew or that gripey Houston guy need to set something up.

Don't get your feelings hurt! You know if you don't sleep in your kennel you pee on the floor!
