Congrats and thanks for carrying on the long tradition. I wish you well (even though I can't go this year).

On a more serious note - you guys didn't go dig up Jerry did you? If only he had worn his CPAP unit!

Some of you probably already know that the keyboardist of the Grateful Dead designed the nose-bridge gel pad for CPAP masks.

Seems like a lot of the Dead's keyboardists end up well, dead.

But I'm sure they're grateful...

So how was the party? Why are there no pics yet? Surely Neil had his camera with him.

Were there tasty beverages? Did the band rock? Did everyone behave and play nice together?

Those of us who could not go would like to know these vital details!

I had a lot of fun, but did NOT take my camera. In fact, I think everyone who went thought it a good party. And as far as everyone getting along, I spent a great deal of time talking to the marketing manager from one of our arch-rivals in the sensor biz. The fact she was attractive as well as fun to talk to did not influence me at all.... much.

It was great putting some faces to names (Stew, Rick, etc). And yes the band rocked - including Dr. Dement "singing" the first song of the night.

As far as beverages go, I now equate San Antonio with copious quantities of Margaritas. ;)

I'd count it as a huge success. :D
