Anyone have any hard numbers as to how many patients are being Rx PAP via HST/Autopap pathway versus PSG/Titration pathway?

My Doctor just returned from a Medical conference where he was told about 60% of patients. I don't have material or links or hard documents just what the Dr/presenters said at the conference.

Also I was wondering if anyone knows an average reimbursement rate for a HST with at least 4 parameters measured? Medicare is at $168.37 but I'm wondering what the private Insurances are paying on average.

Sorry, Somno I'm not trying to Hijack your thread!

No worry.
I read this and was also stunned at how little savings there actually was for HST/Auto vs. PSG/Titration...25% who would have guessed.

"Cost analysis was performed taking into account cost of PSG, home testing, repeat studies, and follow-up visits or phone calls. Total cost was 25% less in the home testing pathway ($139,000 versus $186,000)." - See more at: http://www.sleepreviewmag.com/2013/02/h ... x8UGr.dpuf"
