Prosthetic eye

Postby dcbajack@comcast.net » Thu Jul 03, 2014 3:03 pm

Have a patient tonight with an artificial eye. Other than recognizing the difficulty of staging REM, any other tips out there for lead placement?

It will depend upon the derivation you are using I guess but if you are really worried about missing eye movements, place another 2 EOG leads around the working eye. One directly above and one directly below.

What Bduce said would work well. Otherwise you could just copy the channel and invert it. Not sure how easy it is to edit montages in your system, but you'd at least see the sharpness in opposite directions.
